Lifting…in safe hands

Introduction

Thameside Lifting was established in 1978, so with all that experience behind them, you can be assured you are in the hands of the professionals. Our dedicated team has over 60 years of shared experience within the lifting industry, so we guarantee your needs are always met and your equipment is serviced to the highest possible standard.

Thameside Lifting offers a wide range of lifting equipment for purchase, as well as a vast, excellently maintained and regularly serviced hire fleet to meet all the challenges you may face.

Our ability to provide both on-site and in-house inspections ensures your equipment is always in a safe condition and maintained in accordance with both LOLER and PUWER regulations.

Thameside Lifting engineers also have extensive expertise with the installation and testing of lifting and runway beams, using calibrated live loads and load measuring devices, as well as both fixed and temporary anchor points.

Thameside Lifting is part of the John F Hunt Group.

On-site & In-house Inspections

At Thameside Lifting, our customers depend upon our high standards. Therefore, our LEEA Qualified Engineers undertake all on-site installation and testing of lifting accessories and fixed lifting appliances, to ensure conformity with current PUWER and LOLER regulations.

Both on-site and in-house inspections address the specific risks associated with the use of lifting equipment.

With Thameside Lifting’s full range of testing facilities and expertise, our Inspection Team will assess and identify any weakness or vulnerability that could impact on safe use, subjecting all equipment to rigorous analysis on a 6-12 monthly basis in accordance with LOLER.

Our skilled engineers share decades of experience in the lifting industry, specialising in the on-site installation and testing of fixed lifting appliances including beams, frames and anchor points.

Thameside Lifting is equipped to handle a wide variety of testing situations, whether that is with a live or static load, so you can be sure that your newly installed or modified equipment is safe and meets both LOLER and PUWER requirements.

Once tested or inspected, a LOLER certificate will be issued to you, providing detailed descriptions of both the equipment and the testing process. A copy of your certificates are also permanently stored on our system, so you never have to worry about misplacing your copy.
